My artistic practice is concerned with a fundamental inquiry into the nature of art and representation, specifically, the interplay between form and content. In my work, I seek to translate the ephemeral into tangible imagery. The inspiration for my paintings, drawings, photographs, and installations are public places, sound and audio recordings. My artwork serves to point to the formal and conceptual options when communicating through a visual language. The production and presentation of my work enables me to explore the limits of representation. I investigate the boundaries of representation, in particular, how meaning can be represented and altered in material form.
