Either/Or Art History Hallway, Latex Paint
The goal of my site-specific installation Either/Or was to convey an experience of entrapment. This experience was constructed through paintings and readymades that serve as metaphors. Each metaphor was meant to heighten the awareness of the viewer’s participation in the world or resignation from it. The installation presented a fabricated environment within a real one that situated the viewer between competing representations of each.
